NAAIM’s 2016 NAAIM Shark Tank Competition – Now Accepting Applications.
The NAAIM Shark Tank is an opportunity for the developers of active investing approaches to pitch their strategies to fellow advisers and active investment managers in pursuit of sub-adviser agreements. Contestants face a set of “Sharks”, who are judges selected by NAAIM. Managers have a limited amount of time in the “Shark Tank” to present their strategy and discuss performance, uniqueness and other factors. NEW for 2016: 1st Place Cash Prize of $5000
The 2016 Shark Tank starts with preliminaries to be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015 during the Outlook 2015 Conference at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott. Up to twelve (12) presenters will be selected to participate in the preliminary competition.
From those twelve, six presenters will be selected to compete for the first place prize package, to be held at the 2016 Uncommon Knowledge conference, May 1-4, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Second and Third Place Prizes may also be awarded, at the judges’ discretion.
