Uncommon Knowledge Annual Conference

NAAIM welcomes an extraordinary line up of presenters at our 2008 Conference - May 5-8 at the Hyatt Regency Irvine - Irvine, California

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
presented by ProFunds Group

John Bollinger, CFA, CMT

In the early 1980s, John Bollinger, CFA, CMT, created a technical indicator for stock charts – Bollinger Bands - that are today an integral part of virtually every charting system. His book, Bollinger on Bollinger Bands, was published by McGraw Hill in 2001 and has been translated into seven languages.

An avid researcher, in the 20+ years since the first introduction of Bollinger Bands, John has developed a number of widely used investment tools and analytical techniques and continues to develop and expand the use of Bollinger Bands, both within his own firm, Bollinger Capital Management, Inc. and in print and presentation. Bollinger Capital Management provides technically driven portfolio management services to individuals, families, trusts, corporations, and retirement plans. John personally governs all investment decisions for Bollinger Capital Management clients. Bollinger Capital Management also develops and provides proprietary research for institutions and individuals.

John is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Market Technician (CMT). He is perhaps best known to the public for his many years of market analysis and commentary on television -- first on Financial News Network, where he was the Chief Market Analyst -- and subsequently on CNBC. His articles have appeared in Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, Active Trader and the Market Technicians Association Newsletter. In addition, he is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Los Angeles and the Market Technicians Association, a former board member of the Market Technicians Association and the founding president of Market Analysts of Southern California.
